Founded in 1948, Pak Carpets International began its journey with the trade and manufacture of handmade carpets, soon becoming Pakistan’s first dedicated exporter of handmade carpets. PCI was awarded the President’s Export Trophy in 1969, and in just 14 years, was producing machine-made carpets, growing to the nation’s largest manufacturer in the field. Today, with our award-winning heritage of innovation that spans over seven decades, we have become more than just one of Pakistan’s leading flooring providers and have 3 divisions:
Interiors, Automotive and PCI Materials. Furthermore, we firmly believe in our responsibility to not just our clients and stakeholders, but to society at large, and as such, founded and run ‘The Akbar Foundation’, named in honor of our late Chairman, Syed Ali Akbar Rizvi. This foundation plays an important role in making the lives better through assistance in the areas like Social Welfare, Education, Health, Sports and Fine Arts.
